1. The identities of the women in this photo are unknown. The photo was found in a photo album belonging to Dalla Sophronia Hartsell Seago (1887-1982) who was married to John Marion Seago (1879-1924). Dalla's mother was Maggie Sophia Howell (1854-1920).

UPDATE: SOLVED!!!! A distant cousin from North Carolina contacted me in Febirary, 2017, because she had the same photo in her family and the identities of the women were passed down in her family.

2. Three of these men are unidentified. The man 2nd from the righ is Reverend Pearson Gamaliel Hartsell (1852- 1940) of Big Lick, North Carolina. This photo was found in a photo album belonging to P. G. Hartsell's granddaughter Dalla Hartsell Seago of Lawrenceville, Virginia. One theory is that this photo was taken on the occasion of P. G.'s wedding to his second wife Luvenia Victoria Moore. The men are dressed up and appear to have corsages. They also bear a resemblence to each other so perhaps they are some of P. G.'s 7 brothers.
